Anyone who reads Angel Whispers will know of our affection for high street store Woolworths and how sad we were at it's demise (See previous blogs). Now Woolworths ex commercial boss Tony Page is trying to raise enough money to set up a new variety chain store and open closed branches of Woolies, the store will be similiar to Woolies selling Pic N Mix and everyday essentials. He is asking the British public to come up with a new name for the new store - if you have any ideas you can let him know at his twitter page http://twitter.com/Pageys or just sign up to support him. Come on and get behind someone who is trying to create new jobs in a poor economic climate. |
