Earlier this year in 'Angel Whispers' we spoke about the sad demise of a high street favourite 'Woolworths' and our personal sadness at the loss of this high street friend.
Today we are pleased to offer our best wishes to a former Woolworths manager Claire Robertson and her old Woolies team in their new venture 'Wellworths'
Thousands of people lost jobs when Woolworths went under after 99 years, but Claire who was store manager of the branch in Dorchester wasn't going to stand by and let it happen. She is reopening her old store today with her old staff under the name 'Wellworths'
The new venture will sell the same things Woolworths sold except for the entertainment side.
So from all of us at CCK we wish everyone at Wellworths Dorchester the best of luck. Were so excited about the venture the angels at CCK are hoping to pay the store a visit in the summer.
